I enjoy connecting with and intimately understanding people– their struggles, joys, and lived experiences. Influential design requires compassion along with a desire to learn and unlearn preconceived notions.
I’ve found that approaches rooted in our shared humanity consistently deliver the best material outcomes. It’s a clarion call to dig deep and make it matter!
I first ventured into design at Pasadena City College creating grayscale gouache swatches for an entire semester. While it was a cartoonishly tedious task, there was something that spoke to me. It was there that the seeds were planted for a future in design and the arts.
The design world is in a constant state of change, but what remains is my fundamental ability to deliver research-based solutions that produce influential work.
